Kate Logue (Oltmann) steals a moment from her super dope dogs Kai and Trigger to shed light on her creative process.

What exciting projects do you have in the works?

I am excited to begin work on a new series that will combine print processes with cannabis growing materials like bags, lights, scales, soil, fertilizer, cigarette papers etc.

When you are in need of inspiration where do you look?

I am always looking at art and learning about new artists. I find a lot of inspiration in the successes of the greats and of my contemporaries. Listening to hip-hop music can always get me out of a creative slump as well; the good stuff is raw, unapologetic and laden with metaphor that is simple, yet complex and dynamic, a trait I try to get to come across in my own work.

Kate Logue (Oltmann) is one of the talented artists you'll see at uBe Art and the juried exhibiton, From Where I Stand.

November 6 thru December 6
